HEY Y’ALL! I’m Cherie! Teacher. Passionate Baker. Food blogger. Mommy Homemaker.
When I first wrote a bio for this site I called myself a SAHM — a Stay At Home Mom. More than a decade later, I am now what’s referred to as an FTWM — a Full-Time Working Mom.
Full-Time Working Mom:
I’m glad you’re here! Here, you’ll find all sorts of easy recipes to help you get used to cooking.
Let’s start at the beginning. It has a surprisingly long history. It was February 2015, and this was the blog I started.
I started this Food Recipes Easy blog as a place for me to document my adventurous foodie life at cooking, both successful and unsuccessful!😜
Crafted my first recipe and hit publish button, knowing that no one was going to see my recipe tactic anyway. Then I published another recipe, and another, and another.
Over time, this is now a great resource for food lovers who like to try experiments in the kitchen.
The only reason … I love to explore in the kitchen.
You’ll find all sorts of vegetarian 🥦 and non-veg recipes 🍗 here.
Quick, Simple and Easy Recipes:
Most of the recipes I share here are simple and straightforward. A lot of my recipes are quick enough and ready in 30 min or less.
I follow THREE main principles in my everyday cooking. That’s what makes this food blog different.
Principle #1.
I don’t believe in using hard-to-find ingredients just for the sake of it. Most of my recipes do have the ingredients procured from the local grocery store or even things you’ll already have in the kitchen.
Principle #2.
I don’t like recipes that add extra cooking steps for no real reason. One-pot recipes are my favourite!
Principle #3.
I try my best to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle and this mostly reflects on my recipes.
My recipes range from nutritious breakfast options to school lunch ideas, simple but delicious evening meals and healthy snack options too.
About Cherie:
I’m Cherie, 35-ish years old and I live in Hyderabad (India) with my husband and son (aged 13).
I’m a science geek, lover of literature and music in equal measures, and travel addict. Started my profession as a Quality Control manager, then I transformed myself as a Teacher and Food & Travel blogger.
Whether I’m in the kitchen experimenting new recipes, or in a classroom, every day there’s a new experience waiting for me.
You can find all of my recipes here but if you prefer to watch them in video format then check out my YouTube Channel here.
Out of pure passion, I run this blog for a living.
So that’s it. A little bit about me.
